IRS to Provide Free Help with Basic Tax Forms

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) announced today that the Internal Revenue Service will provide help to taxpayers in preparing basic income tax returns. IRS representatives will be available at sites all over Washington state from February 4 until April 15. Assistance is available with forms 1040A, 1040EZ, 1040 with Schedules A, B, C-EZ, D, EIC, R, and SE, Child Care, Credit, Child Tax Credit, and Education Credits.
