Cantwell Statement on the Passing of Senator John McCain

SEATTLE, WA – U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) released the following statement on the passing of U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ):

“I am saddened to hear of Senator John McCain’s passing. He had a major impact on the discourse of many issues discussed in the United States Senate.  From campaign finance reform and trade to international policy and, most recently, protecting health care, his impact will long be remembered.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.”
