Press Internship

Senator Cantwell offers a seasonal press internship in her Washington, D.C. office. This intern works with the communications team under the guidance of the Communications Director. The team communicates with press and constituents about topics stretching across all issue portfolios. This intern assists with tracking media coverage, drafting press materials and social media content, graphic design, organizing media events and prepping for hearings, and more.

 

We are currently accepting applications for our Spring 2026 internship cycle, which will run from January – May 2026 (with some flexibility depending on interns’ school schedules). Applications will be open from November 10 – December 5 2025. This position is paid, and full-time.
